Nguyen Tat Thanh University inaugurates first building of the Project of High-Tech Development Center

NTTU – As part of the strategy of completing the system of facilities in the direction of modernity to best serve the teaching, learning and scientific research needs of students of the whole university, on October 15, Nguyen Tat Thanh University officially completed and solemnly held the inauguration ceremony of N1 building under the project of High-tech Development Center in Thu Duc City. This will be a place for training and technology development, providing high-quality human resources, meeting the strict requirements of domestic and foreign enterprises, especially those operating in the field of High Technology.

Located in The Saigon Hi-Tech Park, Tan Phu Ward, District 9, Thu Duc City, High-tech Development Center has a total area of ​​4.7 hectares with an investment budget of tens of million USD equipped with modern and advanced equipment including administrative management block, lecture halls, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary multi-disciplinary research institutes such as Institute of Health Sciences, Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy, Institute of Architectural Planning – Construction, Institute of Environmental Science – Biotechnology, Institute of Informatics Research, Institute of Social Needs Training, Institute of Corporate Relations Promotion and Student Support, data Center – library, Royal Garden – SKYGARDEN…. This will be the place for leading domestic and international experts in science and high technology to participate in research, decoding, perfecting and technology transfer, commercialization of technological products and training of human resources for the high-tech industry, contributing to improving production and business efficiency, creating motivation for the industrialization and modernization of the country. After the Project of the High-Tech Development Center of Nguyen Tat Thanh University is completed with all the items, it will be continued with the buildings of the training area and the library. When inaugurated and put into use, these buildings will be breakthrough to help Nguyen Tat Thanh University strengthen its vision of being a key application-oriented university of the country; create a positive learning environment; continues to be a reliable university for students to choose, study and develop their own capacity.

High-Tech Development Center is one of three key strategic projects that Nguyen Tat Thanh University will invest and develop in the future in the Saigon Hi-Tech Park. Including the High-Tech Development Center, the High-Tech Training Center and the Millennium Park with a total investment of more than 2,000 billion VND. With a prime location like the High-Tech Park of Ho Chi Minh City – where leading scientists and experts will gather to carry out research tasks and apply scientific achievements to production practice. Thefore, this will be the right location that Nguyen Tat Thanh University chooses to train a team of engineers and technicians with solid professional knowledge and skills for technology corporations and high-tech parks in the region.
