Nguyen Tat Thanh University proposes post-harvest technological solutions
NTTU – On July 30 and 31, for the purpose of tightening links between training, research and commercialization of technology products, Nguyen Tat Thanh University participated in the 2020 Technology and Equipment Fair (Techmart) to propose post-harvest technology solutions which contribute to improve product quality and value.
This year, Techmart displays and offers technology, machinery, and equipment related to storing, packaging, and processing agricultural products and foodstuffs to meet the needs of safe products and contributing to improve product quality and competitiveness of businesses. It includes 3 main activities of technology and equipment exhibition; technology demonstration workshop; discussions with technology consulting experts. The fair attracted a large number of participants from research institutes, universities and technology enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City.
At Techmart, Nguyen Tat Thanh University introduced 3 technology products/equipment including low temperature convection drying equipment combined with MICROWAVE energy; UVC – LEDs disinfection Technology for agricultural products after processing; UVC – LEDs Technology for domestic wastewater treatment, agricultural product processing and aquaculture. Those technologies and equipment have been researched and manufactured by lecturers and technicians from Nguyen Tat Thanh University’s Faculty of Environmental and Food Engineering, and widely applied in the field of agriculture as well. This is also an opportunity for Nguyen Tat Thanh University to affirm its prestige and position in the field of technology.
