Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City visits Nguyen Tat Thanh University
NTTU – On the morning of March 11th, 2021, the Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City visited and had a meeting with leaders of Nguyen Tat Thanh University at its main campus in District 4.
Attending the meeting, there were Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi – Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City; Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong – Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University; Mr. Le Quang Khanh, MBA – Manager of International Relations Department, and other lecturers from related faculties.
At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong, on behalf of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, shared remarkable developments over the 22 years of establishment to the Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City. Nguyen Tat Thanh University wishes to connect with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City in training and scientific research with focuses on training cooperation in health care sectors such as Pharmacy, Nursing, etc. and sectors of economics and technology. In addition, the university expects to cooperate with universities and institutes of India in terms of lecturer and student exchange programs, short-term training courses on Pharmacy, Nursing, Business Administration, Finance – Banking, Information Technology, Computer Networks, etc. and especially cultural exchanges between students of the two countries.

The Consul General highly appreciated and thanked to Nguyen Tat Thanh University for the warm and thoughtful welcome, as well as set out orientations for the cooperation with the university on training, lecturer and student exchange and scientific research in the coming time. The Consulate General will connect Nguyen Tat Thanh University with universities and institutes in India to promote cooperative relationships and lead to the signing of Memorandum of Understanding and Memorandum of Agreement.
This collaboration will facilitate Nguyen Tat Thanh University to cooperate with universities, institutes and businesses in India, promote international development and integration, as well as strengthen the Vietnam and India relationship.
