Defeating 858 research projects of more than 2069 students from 100 universities-colleges, institutes from 52 provinces nationwide, 3 research projects of NTTU students excellently got into the final round of the 2019 Euréka Scientific Research Student Awards Competition.

NTTU had 24 research projects participating in the 2019 Euréka Scientific Research Student Awards Competition. Going through several strict rounds of evaluations, 3 excellent research topics were honored as the finalists of the 2019 Euréka Scientific Research Student Awards Competition. Amongst many research areas, there were 2 projects on Biotechnology-Biomedical Engineering and 1 project on Natural Resources and Environment.

3 research projects of NTTU will officially join the final round and award ceremony commencing from 1st to 20th November.
In 2018, Nguyen Viet Quoc An won the consolation prize of the 2018 Euréka Scientific Research Student Awards Competition with the research project of “Evaluating the possibility in nutrient recovery from livestock wastewater through Zeolites absorption”, a study in the field of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

Euréka is an award for research projects, which concentrate on practical applicability and address current pressing issues. This year research projects are highly evaluated by the Scientific committee in terms of creativity and the quality of participants’ preparation.
In 2019, the 2019 Euréka Scientific Research Student Awards Competition attracted 858 projects proposed by more than 2069 students from 100 universities – colleges and institutions from provinces nationwide. All contestants compete with each other in 12 areas of research including Social Sciences and Humanities, Economics, Resources and Environment, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering, Food technology, Biotechnology- Biomedical Engineering, Urban Planning – Architecture – Construction, IT, Agriculture – Forestry – Fisheries, Education, Administration – Laws, and Technology. This year, the winning projects will receive assistance with the intellectual property rights registration, recommendations to join Incubators of Creative Science & Technology for Youth, and connect with businesses in practical implementation of the participating projects.
