NTTU – On 10 August 2019, at An Phu Dong campus, Nguyen Tat Thanh University organized a semi-final round of the contest of Creative Start-up Ideas at Nguyen Tat Thanh University – “Start-up Open NTTU Day 2019 ”

For the purpose of searching, selecting innovative ideas and projects that are new and feasible to advise, support, create and deploy successfully to become start-ups. In addition, excellent projects that are feasible will be selected by the jury to continue to enter the final round.

The semi-final round of the contest of Creative Start-up Ideas at Nguyen Tat Thanh University – “Start-up Open Day 2019” is a competition of 37 teams from universities, colleges and training institutes in Southern region such as Foreign Economic College, Tay Do University, Foreign Trade University, Polytechnic University, High Technology Institute, Binh Duong University, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Swedish Karolinska Institute, NIIE International Training Institute and the organization of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Speaking at the semi-finals, MSc. Nguyen Thanh Phuong would like to thank the sponsors, Companies, experts, representatives of enterprises, lecturers of universities and colleges who have accompanied contestants. With more than 50 ideas from universities, colleges and institutes in the Southern Region, 37 teams have officially entered the semi-final round after going through the preliminary round. Hopefully, the contest of Creative Start-up Ideas will attract interests from many students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University in particular and students in the Southern region in general. Finally, MSc. Nguyen Thanh Phuong encouraged and sent the best wishes to the participating teams.

In the semi-final round of the Creative Start-up Idea Contest at Nguyen Tat Thanh University – “Start-up Open Day 2019 University”, the teams will present their start-up ideas around 3 topics including: IT – Electricity – Electronics – Business (topic 1), Food chemistry – Business – Agriculture – Medicine – Pharmacy – Nursing (topic 2) and Business – Food – Biotechnology – Agriculture – Lips school (topic 3). With a large scale of organizing universities, colleges and institutes in the southern region, the competition attracts a team of judges who are experts, general directors, directors and CEOs from many enterprises, universities, colleges and training institutions.

At the end of the semi-finals, surpassing 27 teams, 10 best teams of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Foreign Economic College have entered the final round The Creative Idea Start-up Open Day 2019 contest which will take place on August 24.

With the characteristics of being a school under the enterprise, attaching the training philosophy of “True Learning – True Practice – True Value – True Future”, right from the very beginning, starting a business for students is an activity that the school cares about and always considers important training and equipping necessary knowledge about business and entrepreneurship for students. Nguyen Tat Thanh University is also a pioneer in the whole country to launch the national start up program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Training with many workshops and training programs and start-up training. Many students’ start-up projects have been successful with support from the University. Beginning in the academic year 2017 – 2018 subjects starting a business has been taught in 16 faculties and 44 majors of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
