The talk show attracted 500 students physically and nearly 1,000 students joining through an online platform.

The program is organized to provide guidance on career orientation and advice to students after graduation. It plays an important role which helps students gain more experiences in choosing their future career pathway after graduation. Without a clear and well-planned orientation, fresh graduates are less likely to select the right career pathway for themselves. Understanding that, the Institute of Postgraduate Studies invited 3 experienced speakers with a variety of experiences in career orientation for students including Dr. Huynh Anh Binh – Director of Ho Chi Minh City Career Orientation Center; Mr. Ninh Quang Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Anh Sang Human Resources Solution Joint Stock Company, member of the Science and Training Council, Faculty of Business Administration, Nguyen Tat Thanh University; Mr. Le Dang Phuong – Director of ACB Bank, Thong Nhat Branch, ACB’s management representative; Mr. Nguyen Phuc Thien An – Head of Admissions Department, Institute of Professional Skills Development, NTTU Institute of Postgraduate Training.

From NTTU, reprentatives included Mr. Hoang Huu Du – Deputy Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Nhi – Dean of Faculty of Business Administration; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoa – Vice Dean of Faculty of Finance and Accounting and a large number of lecturers and staff.

The speakers are those who have a lot of experience in career orientation and achieved significant success in their career. They are also employers willing to share their own career development stories which inspire participants with a lot of valuable knowledge in determining and building the right career development pathway.

Many questions expressed concerns of graduates related to Labor market trends and the requirements of employers for new graduates such as How to satisfy them?; Should graduates begin a start-up right after graduation; What do students need to take advantage of career development opportunities in the current context?; How to choose the right job?; Is postgraduate education more favorable in the context that practical experience is more appreciated by many employers than having a postgraduate degree without employability? All of the above questions were enthusiastically addressed by speakers and lecturers of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies to partially “untie” the concerns of students on the way to choose right career.

The talk show brought many special emotions to all participants through the sharing of practical experiences from the speakers. It helped the students better understand their major, the opportunities for career development in the future. Meanwhile, the event also inspires the audiences with the most positive energy to continue pursuing their passion and dream. It  also helps the staff and lecturers to gain more practical experiences in teaching and effectively deliver knowledge to students.

“Today’s program is very useful to all of us who will graduate soon. I really appreciate the University and 3 guest speakers for providing an opportunity to learn from the alumni and successful experts. It is important that we are able to share and to be more motivated towards a successful future career”
