Nguyen Tat Thanh University co-organized the final round of the National Startup Contest 2019
NTTU – The Final Round of the National Startup Contest 2019 was held by Nguyen Tat Thanh University in collaboration with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Business Forum newspaper at its main campus on December 19, 2019. The competition attracted many participants being the Jury of the contest, invited businesses, the board of directors of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, 6 contesting teams and more than 200 students of the University.
National Startup Contest in 2019 had the great support and enthusiastic participation of thousands of young students – students after 9 months of launching. Nearly 270 high-achieving projects from nearly 40 universities and nearly 30 provinces and cities selected from national competitions have been sent to the Organizing Committee for the national final round. After the time of hard work and dedication of the Jury (including 20 members), through 4 cross-checks, divided into 02 rounds, the Organizing Committee announced a list of 6 projects with highest votes for the final round of the National Entrepreneurship Competition 2019. Projects are continued to be mentored and put in the contest for first, second and third prizes. Upon the conclusion of the contest, the Organizing Committee will hold the Entrepreneurship Festival to award the best projects for the Entrepreneurship Competition 2019; at the same time, the Company will offer investment for projects committed to practice in the Start-up Festival 2020 expected to be held on January 10, 2020 in Hanoi.

The National Startup Contest is not only a useful playground but also an opportunity for Nguyen Tat Thanh University students to become professional start-up. Earlier, in August 2019, Nguyen Tat Thanh University kicked off the City Innovation Week. Ho Chi Minh City 2019 with the Contest for Creative Start-up Ideas at Nguyen Tat Thanh University – NTTU Start-up Open Day 2019. Over 2 months of competition of 45 teams, 300 students from 10 universities and colleges in Southern Vietnam, 11 best teams were selected for the final. With the support from sponsors, businesses, the Organizing Committee of the program has awarded prizes including cash and incubator packages with a total value of 310 million VND. In addition, excellent competitions teams are awarded many valuable prizes.
