Brief introduction
The Mechatronics Engineering Technology program at Nguyen Tat Thanh University was established under Decision No. 5348/QD-BGDDT dated October 25, 2011, by the Ministry of Education and Training. This program, which began enrolling students in 2013, is a key focus area within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, alongside Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, and Industrial Systems Engineering. Mechatronics is recognized as a central discipline in the faculty’s development path. The curriculum undertook significant updates in 2017 and 2022, and it was certified for quality assurance in accordance with Circular 04 of the Ministry of Education and Training in September 2022. The program continues to be updated with the next major revision anticipated in 2026. The program aims to equip graduates with a solid foundation in natural sciences, social sciences, technology, and contemporary issues in mechatronics. Graduates will possess specialized and interdisciplinary knowledge for effective system management, design, and improvement in mechatronics field. They will also be prepared to adapt to technological changes, adhere to legal standards, and engage in lifelong learning with strong entrepreneurial spirit and communication skills.
Learning environment
Facility 331 trains students in the fields of Economics, Engineering Technology, Humanities… and is designed on a large scale with a combination of other learning support facilities such as a library center system. Hospital, gym, self-study area, practice workshop…
