Brief introduction

Human Resource Management training program was developed, enrolled and taught the first intake in 2016-2017. The training program has undergone many improvements in academic year 2018-2019 and 2020-2021 to suit the human resource needs of the labor market. The year 2022 focused on a major improvement according to Circular 17 of the Ministry of Education and Training, based on the impact of the 4.0 technology revolution and especially the challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic, which has forced organizations and businesses to focus more on operations, while creating opportunities to apply technology and digital spaces to strengthen work processes and office culture. HR leaders globally and in Vietnam have demonstrated their ability to adapt to the forced transition to online platforms and operating processes by the pandemic. At human resource forums recently, experts attending the event pointed out the main trends in the field of human resource management in the coming period, such as: (i) Increasing flexibility; (ii) Transforming the role of the Human Resources Department; (iii) Modernizing talent recruitment. Therefore, to meet the trend of human resource management in the new era, the Human Resource Management training program identifies 3 training objectives and 10 outcomes, with a training period of 3 years. The program is designed based on an analysis of the professional capacity of employees working in Human Resource Management to meet the 3 new trend, including: Professional capacity; General capacity; Requirements on attitudes and qualities of Human Managers. In 2023, according to the general policy of the University, and according to the insight of the Human Resources Management, the training program content will follow the framework of 2022, with only a few minor improvements such as increase the number of credits of English courses to enhance language skills and international integration for learners. In 2024, the Human Resources Management training program will be improved and supplemented according to the school’s orientation with the goal of promoting digitalization, expanding knowledge, creativity and innovation to contribute to the human resource management and related fields, linking with 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations, bringing benefits to the community.
