Brief introduction
The bachelor’s program in Fashion Design at Nguyen Tat Thanh University was approved in 2023. The program is built on applied science criteria, linked to the design personnel needs of businesses and social practices in the trend of sustainable design development. Graduates from the Fashion Design major master basic knowledge of fashion design, have the ability to perform the work of a fashion artist (Fashion Artist), fashion designer (Fashion Designer), costume designer for events (Festival Designer), and can also work as a Style Designer. After completing the course, learners will have a foundation of industry-based knowledge, design and management skills, independent working skills, teamwork skills, and presentation skills… In addition, learners will have chances to interact with professional practice and develop professional working skills through design projects, field trips, and corporate internships. Subsequently, learners can meet the practical working requirements of the society. According to the strategic vision and goals of the University, the degree of bachelor in Fashion Design takes application orientation as an important core basis to create professional fashion designers who are qualified for the labor market, meeting the high demands for creative human resources that employers, businesses, and companies desire.
