Every organization needs individuals to record, process, and provide information about its activities, business situation, and assets. This is the job of accounting professionals. Graduates in accounting can certainly work as accountants, but with the right program choice, career opportunities and advancement extend beyond the accounting department.
The Accounting program at NIIE focuses on financial accounting, which is the “lifeblood” of a business. Students pursuing this field will gain knowledge about the business environment, international and Vietnamese accounting and auditing standards, accounting practices, financial operations, accounting information systems, currency and banking, and financial management.
What sets the Accounting program at NIIE apart is its integration with businesses (students will receive certification in accounting software from companies, learn from industry experts, etc.), incorporation of an English enhancement program at the B2 level (equivalent to IELTS 5.5 – 6.0), and the development of fundamental soft skills for career growth (such as communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills), all of which help students succeed and advance in any work environment.
