Brief introduction
The Mechatronics Engineering Technology program at Nguyen Tat Thanh University was established under Decision No. 5348/QD-BGDDT dated October 25, 2011, by the Ministry of Education and Training. Officially enrolling its first intake in 2013, this program is one of the key disciplines under the Faculty of Engineering Technology, alongside Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, and Industrial Systems Engineering. Recognized as a pivotal field in the Faculty’s development trajectory, the Mechatronics Engineering Technology program underwent the accreditation process in accordance with Circular 04 of the Ministry of Education and Training in September 2022. Significant curriculum improvements were made in 2017 and 2022, with further updates planned for 2026. The program aims to produce engineers proficient in natural and social sciences, modern mechatronic systems design, and analysis, capable of communication, self-learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Specific objectives include equipping students with interdisciplinary knowledge for research and system management, technical skills for system evaluation and enhancement, and the entrepreneurial spirit to adapt to technological advancements and lifelong learning.
Learning environment
Facility 331 trains students in the fields of Economics, Engineering Technology, Humanities… and is designed on a large scale with a combination of other learning support facilities such as a library center system. Hospital, gym, self-study area, practice workshop…
