The 2024 Dance and Vietnamese Karaoke Singing Competition for International Students

NTTU – The International Student Support Center at Nguyen Tat Thanh University recently successfully organized the 2024  Dance and Vietnamese Karaoke Singing Competition to create a platform and connect the international student community studying at the university

This program is part of the annual activities for international students at the university, aimed at helping them relax and connect with each other after stressful study hours. It also creates a cultural and artistic platform for students to showcase their musical talents, creativity, and spirit of unity, especially in enhancing and developing their Vietnamese language skills through musical melodies.

The program was attended by a large number of faculty members, including representatives from the University’s leadership team, heads and deputy heads of departments and centers: Dr. Hoang Huu Dung – Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University; Mr. Bui Quang Trung – Head of the Communications Department; Ms. Nguyen Tran Nhu Quynh – Director of the Admissions Consulting Center….

Additionally, the program was attended by more than 200 students from the university who came to watch and cheer.

This is not only an encouraging achievement but also demonstrates the dynamism and outstanding talents of international students from Laos and Cambodia in the ‘multinational’ learning environment at Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University has welcomed over 250 students from Laos and Cambodia to study in undergraduate and graduate programs, primarily in fields such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, Information Technology, and more. In recent years, international students at the university have received significant support in terms of accommodation in dormitories, cultural exchange activities, sports events, and care for student life, including sports competitions, Vietnamese karaoke, Mid-Autumn Festival charity events, outdoor excursions, and Lao-Cambodian New Year celebrations.

According to the announcement by Study Abroad Aide (SAA) in the World Best Value University Rankings 2024 for International Students, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is honored to be the only private university in the Southern region to be included in this ranking, with a result in the top 35%, ranked 2,745th out of 8,032 universities worldwide.
