NURSING JOB FAIR 2022
NTTU – On July 23, 2022, at campus 300A Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ward 13, District 4, Faculty of Nursing – Nguyen Tat Thanh University coordinated with hospitals, clinics, and companies in Ho Chi Minh City organizes NURSING JOB FAIR 2022. This is a regular activity for students to orient their careers, introduce students to jobs, and enhance the cooperation between the University, businesses and hospitals under the motto of companionship and mutual development
Guests attended the program were doctors from hospitals such as: Gia Dinh Hospital; Oncology Hospital; Children’s Hospital 2; District 11 Hospital; Children’s Hospital 1; Hung Vuong Hospital; Hospital for Traumatology and Orthopaedics. Nguyen Tat Thanh University were represented by Dr. Tran Thien Luu – Vice President; Dr. Tran Thi Chau – Dean of the Nursing Faculty along with a large number of lecturers and students of the Nursing Faculty.

Job Fair is a place for recruitment agencies and students to meet and fulfill the needs of the parties in terms of recruitment and employment within the nursing industry. In addition, approaching employers and students also have the opportunity to grasp the human resource needs of businesses and society, thereby accumulating more experience, adding more professional knowledge to easily understand the human resource needs of enterprises and society to easily find a job, internship, or part-time job to earn extra income to cover life right from the time you are still in university and start a business in the future.
Speaking at the program Dr. Tran Thi Chau – Dean of the Faculty of Nursing said: “The Faculty of Nursing is proud to be a prestigious training place in the field of health care, increasingly promoting its advantage, affirming its position as a key environment along with the long-term and sustainable goal of training medical staff, providing high-quality human resources for the health sector. We believe that, through this Job Fair being honest, responsible students who are able to live and work in a competitive multicultural environment, the qualities that we orient for students will be suitable for the needs as well as the human resource development orientation of hospitals, clinics and businesses.”

Within the program, the representative of businesses and hospitals will introduce its facilities as well as the recruitment needs. In addition, students will have chances ask questions for their future career path.
Nguyen Thi Cam Le, MSc. – Head of Nursing Department of Children’s Hospital 1 shared: “Currently, human resources to meet the needs of pediatric patients care at Children’s Hospital 1 are demanding especially the position of nursing staff. However, in order to meet the recruitment needs of the hospital, you must constantly receive and acquire in-depth knowledge and constantly sharpen your soft skills to meet the requirements of the industry.”
Nguyen Duy Lam, a 3rd year student, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, said that this program has a great meaning, helping students after graduating from school to be ready for the job.
“The program helps us better understand the procedures for applying for a job. In addition, we also better understand the information related to professional certificates, know which hospitals are in need of recruiting personnel, what requirements to apply and the opportunity to work right away after graduating from university.” Lam shared.
